Up to 10 kW split-phase, in a compact indoor case.
Eco Powerwall carries hybrid solar inverters in split-phase form, rated 8–12 kW, for homes throughout the US and UK. Think of a hybrid as a grid-tie inverter with extra talents: besides converting solar, it charges a battery and offers a backup mode. If the grid goes dark, it disconnects (islanding) and hands over to battery power in roughly 10 ms. With two MPPT trackers, it captures solar energy at an MPPT efficiency reaching up to 99.9%, and as many as six units can share bigger loads in parallel. During a free system design, we choose the inverter and set its configuration to suit your grid.

Up to 12 kW of split-phase hybrid power.
Our team plans your system for free, and a quote with no obligation follows within one business day. We deliver across the US & UK.
A grid-tie inverter simply switches off when the power fails. Ours disconnect from the grid and are running on battery about 10 ms later, quickly enough that your computers, lights and pumps keep going.
Each of the two MPPT trackers works at an efficiency of up to 99.9%, and the SEI Pro, rated 12 kW, accepts 9 kW + 9 kW of PV for a generous solar harvest.
Continuous split-phase output spans 8–12 kW, hybrid charging goes up to 240 A, and as many as six units can operate in parallel when the loads are bigger or three-phase.
We sell throughout the US and UK. In the free system design, your site determines which inverter we pick and whether it is configured for single-phase or split-phase at 120/240 V.
The grid-tie type does one job: it turns solar DC into AC, and it stops working when the power goes out. A hybrid adds battery charging and discharging plus a backup mode. That lets it power your home through grid outages, save solar energy for later and operate off-grid.
Not at first. The inverter is ready for a battery yet runs without one, so you can fit it today and bring in LiFePO4 storage afterwards. Planning for backup or off-grid living in the future? Then a hybrid is the smarter pick.
No. For safety, a standard grid-tie unit switches off as soon as the grid fails, and it cannot draw on solar panels or a battery to keep the house running. For backup, you'll need either a hybrid inverter or one built around a battery.
Base the choice on the highest load you run at the same moment rather than on how much energy you use per day. Plenty of homes get by with a hybrid inverter of 10–12 kW in split-phase; big HVAC systems, pumps or workshop equipment might call for units in parallel or for load management.
Yes, we deliver to both the US and UK, and each inverter is set up for the grid it will connect to. US homes get split-phase at 120/240 V; for UK installations, we match the equipment and configuration to your site as part of the free system design. Let us know where you are, and we will check the correct setup with you before you order.
